A two-day traditional and white wedding stitched together by golden light, three hundred guests, and one unforgettable first look.
Adaeze wrote to us eleven months before the wedding with a single line: “I want to remember how it felt, not just how it looked.” That sentence became the brief. We scouted both venues twice, mapped the light hour by hour, and planned the day around the moments that couldn't be repeated — the first look, her father's toast, the final dance under string lights.
On the day itself we worked as a two-photographer team, one staying close to the couple while the other moved through the guests collecting the in-between moments: aunties adjusting geles, the groomsmen rehearsing their entrance, a flower girl asleep on two chairs pushed together.
The couple received 68 preview frames within 48 hours and the full gallery of 940 images three weeks later, along with a linen-bound album that now lives on their coffee table.
Every time we open the album we hear the day again — the noise, the laughter, all of it. Lumière didn't take pictures of our wedding; they kept it.
