Long banquet table styled for an evening reception

The Long Table

An intimate 40-seat launch dinner for a glassware house — photographed like a film, lit by candles and nothing else.

Client: Maison VerreLocation: Ikoyi, LagosDate: May 2025Category: events

Maison Verre launched their first collection with a single dinner: one long table, forty guests, no phones. They asked us to document it without flash, without posing, and without being noticed.

We shot the entire evening on fast primes at candle-light exposures, treating it like cinema — wide establishing frames, close details of glass catching flame, hands mid-toast. The constraint became the style.

The brand released the photo essay a week later as their launch campaign. Every piece from the collection sold out in eleven days.

The photographs are so quiet and so rich. People who weren't at the dinner tell us they remember it.
